Year Of Young People 2018

Welcome to The Year Of Young People 2018!

Year Of Young People 2018 is a platform for our young people aged 8 to 26. It will give them a stronger voice on issues which affect their lives, showcase their ideas and talents, and ultimately, aim to build a truer, more positive picture of young people in society.
For more information on activities news in regard to the Year of Young People, follow the social media pages on Facebook and Twitter, and the hashtags #YOYP2018 #YOYPClacks.

CTSI is working in partnership with other third sector organisations, Education CLD, and Active Clacks in 2018 to promote Year Of Young People 2018 and is holding a number of events to promote youth volunteering, youth activity, and enterprise developments.

BrickBuilt – Lego Exhibition

As part of the Year of Young People, CTSI are bringing Brick Built – a LEGO exhibition, and Big Build events to Alloa from the 17th July to the 7th August in The Liberal Club, Mar Street, Alloa.  There will be an accessible Big Build session at Hawkhill Community Association on Thursday 26th July.  The exhibition and events will be open 10am to 4:30pm Monday to Sunday.  We are looking for as many volunteers (young and young at heart) to get involved to assist with the exhibition.  We have a local Social Enterprise, The Playpen, providing a pop up café during the event, and so there are lots of roles available, from assisting in the café to helping to run our local information and volunteering point.
