Job Title: Communities Development Officer
Salary: £24,500 p/a + Benefits
Hours: 22.5hrs/week (Flexible Working Options Available)
Contract: 2 Year FTC
Location: CTSI Office Alloa

This position, part-funded by The National Lottery Community Fund is for two years and aims to support, connect and enable volunteer-led community anchor organisations within Clackmannanshire on their journey to support them to become successful and sustainable.  The role will help them to build peer relationships across the county and support each group to identify their client market and services of their community facilities. This includes supporting them to feel confident in risk assessment, health and safety, volunteer management, strategic and business planning and other relevant areas of work.

Working together with the groups you will aim to  continue to encourage them to build a consortium, work collectively to save on overhead costs,  share best practice and engage more with their local communities and build partnerships.

The role will continue to support some of the newly-established community organisations/facilities but will be now working with new areas, which includes the new Alloa Hub.
