Role: Business & Enterprise Development Officer

Job purpose

This new role will be part of a small team focused on our membership and will support the work of the Team Leader: Membership & Governance. The role will particularly focus on the business functions of third sector organisations – business planning, cashflow forecasting, marketing, risk management, funding and diversifying income streams. There will be a particular focus on our social enterprise community – helping them succeed in challenging times and be supported through the Forth Valley Social Enterprise Network (FVSEN). The role will link closely with intermediaries, OSCR, Social Enterprise Scotland as well as our local Business Gateway and Chamber of Commerce to provide information, knowledge on changes and other relevant guidelines and funding opportunities.

The role will work closely with the Membership and Events Development Officer and across the wider CTSI team.
