Wee County, Big Heroes: Nominations Now Open

Volunteers’ Week runs from the 1st to 7th June each year, to celebrate and recognise the contribution of volunteers across the UK.

Normally, CTSI bring the sector together for our Wee County Big Heroes: CTSI Third Sector Awards, however, with the uncertainty of COVID restrictions easing, and a celebration seeming inappropriate, we have decided to move forward with a theme of #ThankYou for 2021. This year we will be taking our appreciation online, to deliver a week long campaign highlighting the amazing efforts of our local volunteers, and wider third sector.

From today (March 22nd 2021), we are accepting nominations for outstanding volunteers and groups / organisations that have really gone above and beyond over the last 12 months. Unlike previous years, we will not be selecting an individual winner for each of our award categories, instead we will be showing our appreciation and gratitude to everyone for their efforts and the difference they have made to the community.

We’d love if everyone could show their support and get involved! đź’ś
