Saltire Awards: Awards for Young People

Introducing the Saltire Awards: Awards for Young People in Scotland aged 12 to 25.

The Saltire and Summit Awards ensure young people are getting the recognition and rewards they deserve as a result of their volunteering efforts.

The Awards fit neatly with the national Curriculum for Excellence helping you to become a successful learner, confident individual, responsible citizen, and effective contributor.

The Saltire Awards are National Recognition Awards for young people between the ages of 12 and 25 involved in Voluntary Work within Scotland. These awards are delivered locally by TSI’s, and we are here to help you every step of the way with training, answering any questions and providing video tutorials.

Saltire Certificates are awarded for the number of hours you have volunteered for – these awards range from 10-hour certificate to 500 hours and beyond!

The Summit Awards are a national recognition scheme for young volunteers aged 12 to 25. CTSI promote and administer these awards for local organisations and young people living in Clackmannanshire. Number of awards are limited to 10 per year and are typically aimed towards volunteers who have achieved 200 volunteering hours.

At CTSI we believe that a young person’s achievements can’t be measured in hours, so we focus on volunteers who have made a fantastic contribution to volunteering at any level.

Whatever your reasons for volunteering there is an Award for you.
