Before joining CTSI as their Volunteer Development Officer, I worked as Volunteer and Community Involvement Manager for National Trust in London and the South East, looking after over 300 volunteers across six properties in Surrey and Berkshire.
My experience working with volunteers started when running the first GP-led Covid-19 Vaccination site in England. We operated using solely volunteers and not only am I incredibly proud to have been part of such an achievement, but I am very grateful that it sparked my love of working with volunteers and has led me down the career path I’m on now!
At CTSI I look after all things volunteering, whether that’s the Clackmannanshire Volunteering Portal, heading up our Volunteer Management Forum, or organising our annual Volunteers Week celebrations. If you’re looking for support with volunteer management or becoming a volunteer, it’s me who will be giving you a helping hand.
Outside of CTSI, you can regularly find me treasure hunting in a charity shop, making some sort of mess disguised as a craft, or out exploring somewhere with the dog.
