I started working for CTSI in Feb 2022 as a Lead Community Link Worker (CLW) for Clackmannanshire. This role was an amazing experience and I learned a great deal during my time working as CLW, including the wealth of local support and organisations within Clackmannanshire to support the community.

The CLW team has expanded since I first started in it and the team (which I now manage) covers most of the GP surgeries in Clackmannanshire, offering an amazing and unique service to a wide variety of people. As well as managing this team, I have also taken on the role of HSCP Integration officer and work closely with my colleague in Stirling to help improve all areas relating to Health and Social care in Clackmannanshire and Stirling. It has given me a good insight into the different factors that go into decisions around service commissioning and how best to support local people who need to use health or social care services.

From April of this year, I have also taken on the Community Health Team Lead role in CTSI which I am really excited about. It brings together a lot of the other work that I have previously been involved with and I am looking forward to working more closely with local groups and organisations who help support health and wellbeing in the community.
