Nic joins CTSI as a Community Embedded Researcher on the C4 Project. This UK-wide programme, funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), brings together communities and researchers through a “Community Catapult” model. The aim is to co-create practical solutions to social challenges by making sure community voices shape research and innovation.
Nic has over 25 years’ experience working as a researcher across the public, private and third sectors, specialising in helping communities document what matters most to them. She holds a PhD in Adult Education and is a visual arts-based researcher, who uses creative, participatory methods to make complex issues accessible and meaningful.
In her new role with CTSI and the University of Stirling, Nic will work closely with local groups to listen, share, and co-produce approaches that respond to real needs.
