Investors in Young People Award: £200k Funding

The Scottish Government have awarded ‘Remarkable’ £200k to support eligible businesses to receive up to 100% funding towards the Investors in Young People Good Practice award in 2018.

Investors in Young People is unique framework, specifically created to help organisations in Scotland recruit, develop and retain young people. Its value lies in supporting organisations to follow a step-by-step process that addresses skills gaps, plans their current workforce and creates a talent pool for the future; and it has a social impact in helping to increase youth employment. It also supports organisations to tap into young people’s fresh insights, new ideas and their diversity of thought. It develops them and their teams to become dynamic and increasingly productive. The award formally recognises those who have fantastic, innovative and engaging youth employment practices already in place. There are 3 levels of accreditation – Standard, Silver and Gold. Each one is more progressive and challenging than the next yet, each a fantastic recognition in its own right.

Do you employ young people aged 16 to 28? Are you engaging and developing your young workforce in creative and innovative ways? Are you keen for this to be recognised?

Then, good news! You are eligible to receive up to 100% funding to achieve the IIYP award delivered by Remarkable. Progressing through the Investors in Young People framework leads to an award which proudly demonstrates an organisation’s commitment to youth employment. The value of the IIYP award lies in supporting organisations to follow a step-by-step process that addresses skills gaps, plans their current workforce and creates a talent pool for the future. And by achieving the IIYP accreditation you are making a social impact to reduce youth unemployment in Scotland.
