Introducing our new Volunteer Development Assistant

CTSI are excited to introduce our new Volunteer Development Assistant, Christopher White!

Christopher started in his post at CTSI this week and will be working to support volunteers in our local area and liaising with our members who are interested in engaging volunteers. Christopher will have a particular focus on youth volunteering, growing our local Saltire Ambassador programme, and working with partners to develop and deliver opportunities for development for young people.

He said: “I first came to Scotland from Northern Ireland in 2015 when I started studying International Politics at the University of Stirling, before continuing on to do my Master’s Degree in International Conflict and Cooperation. Since moving to the area, I have been involved in a variety of volunteering, from being a Youth Leader at Alloa Elim Church, to supporting the great work of Community House. I am passionate about helping to reaffirm the supportive, caring values that embody the voluntary community in Clackmannanshire through my new role at CTSI”.

You can get in contact with Christopher at christopher.white@ctsi.org.uk.
