Clackmannanshire had the honour of welcoming His Majesty King Charles on Thursday, 16th January 2025. The visit highlighted the incredible contributions of local volunteers and organisations, with a special focus on the Queen’s and King’s Volunteer Award winners from 2015 onwards. His Majesty engaged warmly with the award winners at the Gate Charity Alloa, who kindly hosted.
Over 150 volunteers and staff from the area’s third sector gathered for this memorable occasion. It was an exciting day for the community, bringing together many familiar faces to share the joy of the celebration.
