FAO: Autistic Adult group members (prior to April 2025).

This statement is an update shared on behalf of CTSI regarding the Autistic Adults’ Peer Support group, known as Neuroclacks. CTSI who has been supporting the group, would like to thank everyone for their patience throughout this process and recognises that this has been a difficult time for members.

Following a thorough investigation into concerns raised in April, CTSI has concluded that it will no longer associate or support Neuroclacks.

However, from members’ communication, it is clear the group has had a meaningful impact during its early stages, with some members forming friendships, feeling a sense of belonging, and gaining confidence in social situations. These positive experiences are deeply valued and appreciated.

CTSI remains committed to assist the autistic adult community and will continue to offer appropriate support and guidance where applicable and will work in collaboration with people with lived experience to improve awareness and understanding in this area.

In light of this, a separate informal friendship group will continue to meet on a casual basis, potentially with a view to planning further developments for activities in the future which will be shared in due course.

Thank you again to all involved.
