The Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) has proposed a number of changes to current Scottish charity law, in order to promote greater transparency and accountability of Scottish charities.
Working in partnership CTSI, CVS Falkirk & Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise (SVE) are hosting a free consultation event on Monday 11th March, 1pm – 4pm at Volunteer Scotland, Jubilee House, Forthside Way, Stirling, FK8 1QZ.
The aims of the session will be:
– To provide context to the consultation on Scottish charity legislation.
– To provide third sector organisations in Forth Valley a place for discussion and questions on the consultations.
There will be supportive contribution from:
Steve Kent, OSCR – Case Worker Policy Manager
Claire McHarrie, Scottish Government – Third Sector Unit
Lee Stevenson – SVE
Julie Haslam – CTSI
Tariq Mahmood – CVS Falkirk
The event will provide our Forth Valley third sector with the opportunity to consider these proposed changes, and their potential impact on your organisation.
We hope to see has many charities from Clackmannanshire at this event to take part in the discussions. For further information, including how to book your place, please click here.
