Parkinson’s Self-management Group – Stirling
The Parkinson’s UK is holding a self-management group in October in Stirling.
A path through Parkinson’s is a free self-management programme designed to help you navigate your life with Parkinson’s.
Each self-management group is led by trained volunteer facilitators with first-hand experience.
The groups are attended by 8-12 people who have been living with Parkinson’s for varying lengths of time, as well as partners and current carers.
The aim is to share experiences and discuss the practical and emotional impact of Parkinson’s.
The benefits of attending include improved knowedge, increased confidence, greater self-awareness, a personal action plan that includes therapeutic activities and hobbies and improved speech.
The group is free to attend but you must register.
Three consecutive Wednesdays, from Wednesday 4 October to Wednesday 18 October 2017
Riverbank Resource Centre, Forthview, James Street, Riverside, Stirling FK8 1TZ
