Mindfulness for Wellbeing – 17th October: During this eight week course, you’ll learn how the practice of mindfulness could change your life for the better. Discover how to reduce feelings of stress, handle your thoughts and emotions more effectively, and live in the moment. Braes High School, Falkirk, 6:30-8:30pm, £60
Managing Anxiety – 26th October: Focused on helping you learn to manage and reduce your anxiety and stress, this interactive 8-week course will also take you through different aspects which can lead to feelings of anxiety and stress, and how you can deal with and manage these. FDAMH, Falkirk, 2-4pm, £60
Scotland’s Mental Health First Aid – 16th & 23rd Nov: Learn all about mental health and wellbeing, key mental health conditions, and equip yourself with new skills and techniques to help those experiencing poor mental wellbeing, during this two-day course. Participants receive a SMHFA certificate upon completion. Muiravonside Country Park, 9am-4pm, £92
Keeping Yourself Mentally Well – 17th November: Discover practical tools and techniques to keep yourself mentally well, while gaining a better understanding of poor mental health and wellbeing and its impact.
