Money Advice Scotland
Money Bootcamp – Launching 25 June 2018!
The one-hour session will be facilitated by one of the financial capability officers and will involve an informal discussion about financial topics chosen by your service users. The objective of this session is to encourage peer-to-peer learning and can be delivered over a cup of tea or outdoors, weather permitting. Money will be the main focus of conversation and these sessions can be booked on their own or as an introductory session before a workshop. These sessions are free of charge for groups of 6 or more. If the minimum of 6 attendees cannot be fulfilled then there will be a charge of £50.
Money Goals workshops
These 2-hour workshops will be delivered in your organisation and are based on themes covering different aspects of financial capability. To maximise the benefits of these financial education workshops, we ask that you look to select a relevant number of topics to help us tailor these to the needs of your service users. We have delivered these workshops across Scotland and the feedback we have received has been very positive from both service users and facilitators. Please note that for the summer period (25 June – 31 August 2018) the minimum number of attendees for Money Goals workshops will be reduced to 6 and if the minimum cannot be fulfilled then a charge of £50 will also apply.
Train the Trainer
We offer two types of training sessions for staff and volunteers. Train the Trainer – Money Coach is designed for staff who work with clients on one-to-one basis, while Train the Trainer – Talking Money is aimed at staff who facilitate group work. We can facilitate these sessions with a group of staff and volunteers at your organisation or we deliver these sessions regularly at our offices in Glasgow.
If you would like to book any of these sessions or have any further questions, please do not hesitate to email firstname.lastname@example.org
