Catering Strategy Event
Invitation – Healthcare Catering Strategy Patient Forum Event
The National Catering Strategy is a key national programme that has been endorsed by NHS Scotland Chief Executives, which sets out to achieve a nationally consistent and effective approach to delivering a high quality food service to patients.
Health Facilities Scotland are hosting an event on 7th November 2018 with the aim to strengthen the level of engagement with patients and patient representatives in the development and implementation of the strategy and to provide information about the general approaches and changes in service delivery.
It will provide an opportunity to hear patients views and experiences of hospital food, and on the likely impact of the strategy on the services that patients receive. We will also be discussing how patient feedback is currently collected and how we can encourage greater engagement in the delivery of catering services in the future. We would like your views on these plans.
We are seeking involvement from patient representatives from a wide range of patient groups across Scotland, from local patient involvement networks, national support groups and other patient stakeholders.
The event will take place at the Golden Jubilee Conference Centre in Clydebank, Glasgow (https://www.goldenjubileehotel.com/) on Wednesday 7th November 2018, from 10am to 3pm, and is free of charge. Lunch will be provided.
Places are very limited on a first come basis, so please let us know if you would like to attend as soon as possible to ensure a space at the event, by contacting
